League Update

We complete our schedule....Lumsden is in Bethune on Tuesday evening and Strasbourg is in Bethune on Wednesday night to complete our 2012-13 regular season schedule.

Playoffs begin this weekend with best of five quarterfinals. The Cupar Canucks play the Lumsden Monarchs and the Wynyard Monarchs play the Southey Marlins. The Bethune Bulldogs have the tiebreaker over Raymore and they have the tiebreaker if there is a three team tie and they will finish fourth place. The Raymore Rockets will finish fifth even if Strasbourg ties them as they hold the tiebreaker over Strasbourg. They will play Bethune. That would leave last year’s finalists, Avonlea and Strasbourg, playing in a quarterfinal.  We will have all of our playoffs showing under our Schedule tab and under Upcoming Games on the front page. Box scores will be located under the Schedule tab.

We will update results of this past week of regular play and get you ready for playoffs with our President’s Update on Thursday.

All Star and Award ballots are going out to our teams this week and we will publish nominees over the course of the next few updates.

Thank you for supporting the HHL….as soon as we get the times and dates for all provincials and League playoffs the updates will be here for you...there is lots of hockey to watch…see you at the rink.
